JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Lead advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex electrical, PLC-controlled, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. * Support and maintain automated manufacturing systems, including PLCs, robotics, HMIs, and safety circuits. * Monitor, troubleshoot, and diagnose PLC-controlled processes locally and remotely via secure VPN connections. * Edit, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC ladder logic and automation handshaking between equipment. * Support robotic operations and integration, including Panasonic and Motoman robotic systems interfaced with PLCs. * Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, multimeters, amp probes, and insulation testers (Megger). * Evaluate equipment performance and implement continuous improvement modifications to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency. * Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions for recurring equipment issues. * Support production line repairs and breakdowns involving electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems. * Identify, source, and implement suitable replacement parts for obsolete or unsupported equipment. * Support new equipment installation, commissioning, diagnostics, and validation. * Maintain detailed documentation, work logs, PM schedules, and equipment updates within the CMMS. * Serve as a technical mentor and subject-matter expert for Maintenance Technician I and II employees. * Perform all work in compliance with company safety policies, including Arc Flash, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space, and Fall Protection requirements. * Provide own required tools and work mandatory overtime as required. * Perform additional duties as assigned.
