Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) Analyst & Training Developer

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):

Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Four (4) years of full-time experience in financial analysis, business process support, training development, or similar roles. Experience with Oracle Cloud (Guided Learning, HCM, ERP, EPM) implementations. Experience developing training content and facilitating sessions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in adult learning principles or instructional design. Familiarity with project management methodologies. Experience creating e-learning modules (Articulate, Captivate, Rise, etc.). Experience with Oracle Guided Learning tools, tagging, and content strategy. Background in digital adoption, training, or change enablement for enterprise software.

Brief Description of Duties:

The Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) Analyst & Training Developer reports to the Director of Change Management. The incumbent will support the Oracle Cloud implementation by designing and configuring in-application guidance using Oracle Guided Learning. This role brings both strategic insight and hands-on expertise to help ensure end-user adoption across HCM, ERP, and EPM modules, particularly in a higher education environment. The selected candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as display excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear instructions.

  • OGL Content Development & Asset Management:

  • Build and manage OGL assets, including Process Guides, Smart Tips, Beacons, and Tooltips.

  • Develop, configure, review, and approve OGL content (Process Guides, Smart Tips, Messages, Security settings, etc.).

  • Build e-learning modules and video tutorials using training development software.

  • Maintain a centralized library of OGL training materials, ensuring timely updates and publication.

  • Provide guidance and deliverables related to governance, testing, and best practices for the OGL content lifecycle.

  • Training Delivery & User Support:

  • Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions on OGL processes, systems, policy changes, and compliance requirements.

  • Work with functional leads and project stakeholders to translate institutional processes into effective in-app support.

  • Help drive adoption by aligning OGL content with change management and training efforts.

  • OGL Platform Implementation & Administration:

  • Oversee full implementation of the Oracle Guided Learning platform, including project management, process improvements, and KPI tracking post-ERP adoption.

  • Manage OGL dashboard provisioning and base configuration in collaboration with technical teams.

  • Create and maintain the OGL security strategy.

  • Testing, Release Management & Go-Live Support:

  • Coordinate all functional and technical testing activities.

  • Lead execution and coordination of OGL testing cycles.

  • Assist with planning phased content rollouts aligned to testing cycles, go-live readiness, and quarterly releases.

  • Help drive adoption through release-aligned updates and structured change management integration.

  • Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.

Special Notes:

This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.

In addition to the employee's base salary, this position is eligible for $4,000 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
