Job Description
Day-To-Day: We are seeking a Controls Engineering Manager to lead automation and controls initiatives at our Winchester, VA location. This role manages a team of controls engineers and oversees the design, implementation, and standardization of industrial automation systems across multiple projects. The ideal candidate brings senior-level controls engineering expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical involvement. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, IT/OT, operations, and external vendors to deliver scalable, efficient automation solutions.

Skills and Requirements
· 5+ years in automation/controls engineering, including 3–5 years at a senior level
· Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams
· Strong expertise with Rockwell, Siemens, and/or Schneider PLC platforms
· Experience in project execution, resource planning, and budget oversight
· Solid understanding of IT/OT environments, automation software, and system integration
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred experience can be used in lieu of the degree
