Amergis Educational Staffing is proud to partner with a school in Wilmington, MA to hire passionate and qualified Occupational Therapist for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year!
Position Overview
Location: Wilmington, MA
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM- 2:45 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $60/hour
Grade Levels
Elementary and Middle School Caseload
Role Responsibilities
Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with students’ IEPs
Conduct initial and re-evaluations of student needs
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with education staff, specialists, and families
Monitor and document student progress toward academic, social, and emotional goals
Attend and contribute to IEP meetings; write and revise IEPs as needed
Requirements
MA Occupational Therapist License (active and in good standing)
Minimum 1 year of experience working with students with intellectual or developmental disabilities
Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Experience attending and writing IEPs
Ability to provide academic and behavioral support in a classroom setting
Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Minimum Requirements:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice
One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
