Job Summary
As part of the team at our German laboratory in Stolberg, you will be responsible for the release of finished products. In your role as a Laboratory Technician (m/f/d), you will conduct tests on finished products and cleanroom maintenance in our microbiological laboratory. Therefore, you will be responsible for maintaining our high quality standards and ensuring the timely delivery of products to our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Release testing of finished goods and raw materials according to predefined test methods and specifications based on GMP guidelines, DIN standards, and pharmacopoeias
Microbiological contamination testing via membrane filtration of finished products, raw materials, and process water
Microbiological identification based on morphological properties
Sterilization testing using biological indicators
Environmental monitoring of cleanrooms
Working in cleanrooms (ISO 5, 7, 8)
Performing manual airborne particle measurements
Conducting microbiological tests such as active air, passive air, and contact plate tests
GMP-compliant documentation of test results, both paper-based and digital
Data entry and management in SAP
Education
- Successfully completed training as a chemical or biological laboratory technician or as a chemical-technical or biological-technical assistant.
Work Experience
- Prior professional experience in a comparable position would be desirable.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Good IT user skills (MS Office)
Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is desirable
Reliability, resilience, and ability to work in a team
Careful and independent working style
Good English skills, both written and spoken
Fluent German skills both written and spoken
Desirable: Class B driver’s license #LI-JJ1
Travel Requirements
5%: Up to 13 business days per year
Physical Requirements
Light-Exerting up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force frequently constantly to move objects.
