The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, perform, document, and evaluate professional independent nursing practice at Lakeview Hospital; to provide work direction for and oversight of the nursing care provided by unlicensed assistive personnel; to perform and document functions such as carrying out the practitioner orders; to assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures; to provide a safe and therapeutic environment; to coordinate, communicate, interpret, and explain patient care services to the patient, their family, health professionals and others; to perform related duties as assigned Work Schedule: Casual Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Nursing, or equivalent. Licensed as a RN by Minnesota Board of Nursing or has a Wisconsin RN License and Minnesota Boarder State Registry. Registered nurses re-entering the nursing field, who have not completed 520 hours of nursing practice in the past four (4) years must successfully complete a recognized refresher course to qualify for employment. Written information of certification validating successful completion of a refresher course must be provided before employment. Current BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Current NRP within 6 months of start Current STABLE within 6 months of start Minimum 1-year recent RN special care nursery OR L/D experience to be required. Preferred Qualifications: Baccalaureate or Master's degree in Nursing Associate Degree prepared nurses enrolled in Baccalaureate in Nursing program Specialty Certification in the RN's area of expertise (e.g. CCRN, PCCN, CNOR, CPAN, CAPA, etc) Lakeview Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
