Job Title: Senior Cyber Security Analyst
Job Description
Support the cybersecurity assessment, architecture, design, development, and integration of complex military combat vehicle systems. Focus on ensuring cyber survivability across vehicle platforms by evaluating vulnerabilities, supporting secure system architectures, and assisting with system integration and testing activities. Work closely with internal engineering teams, external customers, and suppliers to ensure cybersecurity requirements are met throughout the system lifecycle—from design and prototyping through testing and integration.
Responsibilities
Conduct cybersecurity vulnerability assessments for hardware and software systems.
Support vehicle cybersecurity architecture initiatives.
Ensure cyber survivability by evaluating vulnerabilities and supporting secure system architectures.
Assist with system integration and testing activities to meet cybersecurity requirements.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams, external customers, and suppliers throughout the system lifecycle.
Essential Skills
Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and cybersecurity vulnerability assessments.
Ability to support vehicle cybersecurity architecture.
Familiarity with Cyber Survivability Endorsement Implementation Guide (CSEIG) v2.0.
Hands-on experience with secure software development practices.
Knowledge of cryptographic processes.
Experience working on DoD or defense programs.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Applied knowledge of data and information system protection, secure software code development, and software supply chain security.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to independently execute technical tasks with minimal oversight.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across domestic and international teams.
Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipeline configuration is a plus.
Automotive or embedded system penetration testing experience is beneficial.
Familiarity with SIL/HIL environments is desirable.
Exposure to proposal support or bid capture activities is advantageous.
Work Environment
The role is set within a defense engineering environment supporting military combat vehicles. It involves cross-functional collaboration with systems, software, and hardware teams. The position may require occasional international travel for technology transfer. The work involves a combination of analysis, hands-on engineering, and stakeholder interaction, providing exposure to large, complex U.S. defense programs and advanced vehicle technologies.

This is a Contract position based out of Sterling Heights, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $67.31 - $72.12/hr.
