Insight Global Process Coach in Sterling Heights, Michigan
Job Description
Supervise and coordinate facilities operations including:
Building systems (HVAC, compressed air, steam, water, chilled water)
Electrical distribution (low and medium voltage)
Plant utilities, lighting, roofing, and structural systems
Ensure continuous availability and reliability of plant infrastructure to support production schedules
Monitor facility performance metrics and respond to downtime, alarms, or system failures
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for facilities assets
Partner with maintenance, controls, and reliability teams to improve asset uptime
Support capital projects, facility upgrades, and equipment installations
Track work orders, backlog, and maintenance KPIs using Ford CMMS systems
Continuous Improvement & Cost Control
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, problem‑solving (8D, 5‑Why), and Six Sigma tools
Identify cost‑reduction and energy‑efficiency opportunities
Support plant shutdown planning, facility readiness, and restart activities
Collaborate with engineering on layout changes and plant modifications
$35/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave.

Skills and Requirements
-3–5+ years of experience in: Manufacturing supervision
Facilities, utilities, or plant infrastructure operations
-Experience leading hourly/union workforce in an automotive or industrial setting
-Strong understanding of:
Industrial electrical systems
HVAC and building systems
Preventive maintenance practices
-Working knowledge of OSHA, environmental, and safety compliance
