KUKA Boring Mill Operator in Sterling Heights, Michigan
SUMMARY
To machine or drill details per the customer supplied print, sketch or verbal instruction to the specified dimensions. Must be knowledgeable in print reading, dimensional accuracy and basic shop math. Must be able to drill and tap per the Boring Mill Leader's instructions. NOTE: this is a NIGHT SHIFT role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Pick up details to be machined from the holding area.
- Inform Boring Mill leader of non-conforming material covered.
- Assist shop floor personnel with machining needs.
- Make sure area of shop is kept neat and clean.
- Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
