Procurement Buyer Sterling Heights, MI $30.42 - $32.60/Hour Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. Responsibilities: * Analyze material requirements (MRP) and demand signals using Oracle systems * Develop and issue RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs to suppliers * Perform cost and price analysis, including proposal evaluation and fact-finding * Lead supplier negotiations (pricing, terms & conditions) * Create, issue, and administer Purchase Orders (POs) and subcontracts * Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost compliance * Serve as primary liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders (engineering, program management, quality) * Resolve supplier issues related to quality, design, and payment * Coordinate and support source selection activities * Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies (GDLS) * Conduct supplier kickoff meetings and program reviews * Track supplier lead times and align procurement activities with program schedules * Support additional procurement and program activities as needed Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field * Experience with Oracle ERP and procurement systems * Background in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain * Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) * Proven experience in cost/price analysis and supplier negotiations * Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in defense, aerospace, or manufacturing environments * Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and subcontract management * Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
