Journeyman Electrician - Kingdom Electric LLC Location: Sterling / Kenai Peninsula area, with projects across Alaska Compensation: $45/hour + overtime opportunities

If youre a skilled Journeyman who excels in both residential and commercial work, has a desire to adventure across Alaska for a handful of projects a year, and wants to be part of a supportive, excellence-focused team in a growing company, this is your chance to build something great with us.

What Youll Do:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings (no industrial focus for this role).
  • Read blueprints, run conduit, pull wire, terminate panels, and ensure code-compliant work across home, business, and light commercial projects.
  • Lead and mentor apprentices on the job.
  • Travel to project sites across Alaska as needed (with company support).
  • Deliver clean, professional, and safe installations that reflect our high standards.

Requirements:

  • Valid Alaska Journeyman Electrician license (or ability to obtain reciprocity if from out-of-state).
  • Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with strong skills in both residential and commercial electrical work.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from the owner
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  • Tools of the trade (specialized tools provided by company).
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.
  • Ability to pass a background check
