Emerson Workshop Technician Downhole in STAVANGER, Norway

Based in Stavanger, you will play an important role in ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are handled, prepared, tracked, and maintained in line with Emerson standards and Norwegian HSE expectations. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to reliable, compliant operations while developing your skills in a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Maintain a safe, tidy, and well-organized workshop and assigned work areas in accordance with Norwegian HSE requirements and Emerson quality standards.
Register, track, and manage tools, equipment, and inventory using Emerson systems, including Oracle, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance.
Ensure tools and equipment are certified, qualified, maintained, and available for onshore and offshore activities as required.
Perform daily warehouse and logistics activities, including receipt of goods, correct stock placement, inventory control, and periodic stock counting.
Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for domestic and international shipment, including packing, preservation, labeling, and documentation in line with applicable procedures and regulations.
Control and inspect tools and equipment returned from offshore or field assignments, reporting deviations, non-conformities, or improvement opportunities.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing ideas that enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and collaboration across the team.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Relevant experience from a workshop, warehouse, logistics, or technical environment, or a combination of education and hands-on experience that enables you to perform the role effectively.
Confidence using digital systems for registration, documentation, and inventory control.
A strong commitment to health, safety, quality, and compliance, aligned with Norwegian HSE standards.
Professional working proficiency in English, enabling clear communication and accurate documentation.
To be based in the Stavanger area, supporting close collaboration with the local team and operational activities.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Ability to communicate in Norwegian, supporting effective local cooperation and day-to-day operations.
Experience with inventory management, logistics coordination, or shipment handling in an industrial or technical setting.
Familiarity with certified tools, lifting equipment, or regulated materials.
Offshore experience, or willingness to complete required offshore training and certifications.
Relevant licenses or certificates (such as forklift, crane, or dangerous goods handling), or motivation to obtain them with employer support.
