Kelly, in partnership with a rapidly growing displays organization, is looking for a Shipping Supervisor in Statesville, NC. This is an awesome opportunity for someone currently in a Shipping or Warehouse Lead role who would like the opportunity to grow into higher level leadership roles – lots of growth opportunities!
This is a contract to hire position, meaning you will work through Kelly for a period of time prior to being hired with our client. Once hired permanently, you will be offered their competitive benefits, vacation, and compensation package!

Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour
Job Description:
The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily shipping operations, ensuring that orders are prepared, packaged, and shipped accurately and on time. This entry-level supervisory position is ideal for candidates with experience as a Shipping or Warehouse Lead who are ready to take on greater responsibility in a leadership role. The Shipping Supervisor will supervise shipping associates, maintain inventory accuracy, enforce safety and operational procedures, and support continuous improvement within the shipping department.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the shipping team to ensure timely and accurate shipment of orders.
Assign daily tasks, monitor employee performance, and provide training and guidance as needed.
Verify and maintain shipping records, documentation, and inventory.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., receiving, production, customer service) to resolve shipping issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and shipping regulations.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Previous experience as a Shipping or Warehouse Lead, or in a similar logistics environment.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency (shipping software, inventory systems, email).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience preferred.
