Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Material Handlers to join our chemical manufacturing facility. We have openings available on both day and night shifts, with a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. This role involves the movement of materials within the facility and requires a proactive attitude and the ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Responsibilities
Operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to move products within the facility.
Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
Handle products weighing up to 50 lbs and roll large drums weighing up to 100 lbs.
Assist in various tasks outside of standard material handling duties to support the facility's operations.
Essential Skills
Proven experience in material handling.
Competency in operating sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with extreme temperatures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Manufacturing or material handling experience.
Expereince in landscaping, carpentry, or construction.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Work Environment
The work environment is non-climate-controlled, with temperatures being extremely hot during the summer and cool in the winter. Employees must be prepared to work in these conditions
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Statesville, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
