Maintenance Technician – Temp to Hire

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a small manufacturing plant in Conover, NC . This is a 1st shift, temp-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay starting at $22 per hour .
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and basic hydraulic systems
Maintain building systems (lighting, plumbing, minor HVAC support)
Conduct general grounds upkeep (mowing, trimming, snow removal as needed)
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Respond promptly to maintenance requests
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Strong troubleshooting skills
Dependable with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently
