Job Title: Fabricator
Pay Rate: $22–$23 per hour
Shift: First Shift | 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. | Monday–Friday
Job Summary
The Fabricator is responsible for post-processing and finishing manufactured parts to ensure they meet all quality, safety, and documentation requirements. This role focuses on powder and support removal, visual and pressure testing, and accurate data entry in a Quality Management System (QMS). The position operates in a clean, climate-controlled production environment and offers an opportunity to transition to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
Perform post-processing fabrication tasks including powder removal, support structure removal, visual inspection, and pressure testing of parts.
Accurately record technical and production data to ensure full traceability and effective quality control.
Assist with plugging and masking operations in coordination with other departments to support foreign object debris (FOD) prevention.
Support daily 5S housekeeping initiatives to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Log part counts, labor hours, and inspection data accurately in the Quality Management System (QMS).
Maintain cleanliness and organization as a top priority to ensure a FOD-free workspace.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support fabrication and production operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience safely operating hand-held pneumatic and machine tools such as chisels, saws, air files, belt sanders, drills, and pencil/die grinders.
Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
Ability to follow technical instructions, procedures, and inspection criteria.
Basic computer skills, including experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Ability to perform accurate data entry for part counts, labor hours, and technical records.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Additional Skills & Experience (Preferred)
Prior fabrication or post-processing/finishing experience.
Experience with pressure testing in a production or fabrication environment.
Experience in production support, quality assurance, or manufacturing data entry.
Positive attitude with a willingness to assist in housekeeping and 5S initiatives.
Demonstrated reliability and consistency in meeting quality, safety, and production standards.

Work Environment
This position is based in a climate-controlled fabrication and manufacturing facility operating on first shift. Daily work involves using hand-held pneumatic and machine tools, as well as computer-based Quality Management Systems for tracking and documentation. The environment emphasizes 5S principles, cleanliness, and strict FOD prevention. Standard production attire and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
