MANPOWER Quality Assurance Engineer I in State College, Pennsylvania

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer I to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer I, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proactive ownership, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer I

Location: State College, PA

Pay Rate: $43.48

Shift: 8AM-5PM

What's the Job?

  1. Collaborate with Supplier Quality, Design Engineering, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams to ensure execution of Conditionally Qualified supplier actions.
  2. Support the Lead Supplier Quality Engineer by updating Conditional Qualification plans, Incoming Inspection plans, and site-level containment plans with accuracy and thoroughness.
  3. Update drawing markups as directed by the Engineering leader.
  4. Monitor, document, and improve supplier performance and part quality, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of actions.
  5. Participate in MRB (Material Review Board) meetings and partner with cross-functional teams to dispose of defective material and engage suppliers for corrective actions.

  2. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  3. Cultural awareness to work seamlessly with global partners across regions and time zones.
  4. Proactive ownership to drive tasks forward and ensure timely resolution.
  5. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, analysis, and quality processes.
