Job Description

As a Manual Machinist, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining precision machinery to support these innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines with precision.
Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping materials.
Select appropriate machines for given tasks.
Monitor production, adjusting feed and other settings as needed.
Maintain inventory needed of completed products.
Check outputs for quality assurance and document discards/defects.
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery as needed.
Essential Skills
2-5 years of relevant machining experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent mathematical skills.
Proficiency in interpreting drawings and blueprints.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of State College, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
