Insight Global Electrical Project Manager in Stanley, North Carolina
Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to support the project management team at one of our large energy companies. This role will manage a mix of smaller electrical projects and select larger capital projects, including generator step-up transformer work. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical background with foundational project management experience, particularly within utility or industrial environments.
Manage multiple electrical projects ranging from $100K to $1M in value
Own project budgets, cash flow forecasting, and schedule tracking
Issue and manage contracts; coordinate with vendors and subcontractors
Support execution of electrical upgrades and installations across utility, industrial, and solar projects
Provide project coordination across field teams, engineering, and external partners
Ensure project milestones, cost controls, and delivery timelines are met
Some travel required, primarily to South Carolina project sites

Skills and Requirements
3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical project work
Experience managing budgets, schedules, and cash flows
Background in utilities, industrial electrical, or similar environments
Working knowledge of medium- and high-voltage electrical systems
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Project generation experience
Ovation system experience
