Aerotek Production Associate in Stanford, Kentucky
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Meat Cutter to join our production team in a slaughterhouse environment. This role is responsible for breaking down carcasses into primal and retail cuts while maintaining the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and quality. The ideal candidate has strong knife skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to perform efficiently in a cold-production setting.
Key Responsibilities
Break down beef, pork, or other livestock carcasses into primal, sub-primal, and retail cuts
Trim, debone, and portion meat according to company specifications and customer requirements
Inspect meat products for quality, consistency, and food safety
Safely operate cutting equipment such as saws, grinders, and skinners
Follow all USDA, OSHA, and company food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Label, weigh, and package finished products accurately
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to maintain production flow
Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately
Assist with inventory rotation and proper storage of meat products
Work Environment
This role is performed in a cold, wet slaughterhouse environment, with temperatures maintained between 35–45°F (2–7°C) to ensure product quality and safety. Regular cleaning is required to remove excess meat and blood, making attention to sanitation and safety a top priority.

This is a Contract position based out of Stanford, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $14.50/hr.
