Adecco US, Inc. Lead SMT Operator/Lead Solderer in Stacy, Minnesota

Adecco is partnering with a great client in Stacey MN to hire a Lead SMT Operator and Lead Solderer for this contract to hire opportunity!

As a working Lead, also responsible for touch-up soldering, inspection, and more involved rework. Reads and interprets traveler (routing) and instruction documents, uses a variety of parts and tools, and fits electronic components together.

Shift- Monday-Thursday 7am-4:30 PM

Pay $24-$30 Depending on Experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the achievement of production goals (throughput rates, quality, timeliness, costs, etc.) by communicating job expectations; planning and scheduling work assignments; providing direction to employees; ensuring compliance to company systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Address, and bring to the timely attention of appropriate leadership, issues regarding product quality, documentation, or process capability.

  • Provide an effective communication bridge between the Leadership Team, other departments and functions, and the SMT line.

  • Perform inspection activities to IPC-A-610 requirements.

  • Utilize computer and other electronic programs for data capture and proper processing.

  • Actively participate and support problem-solving and continuous improvement activities. Special focus on proactive identification of improvement opportunities for assembly processes, fixtures, testing, etc.

  • Participate in on-going education and training.

  • Work cooperatively with co-workers at all levels.

  • Contribute to team effort by performing other tasks as appropriate and/or necessary. Qualifications & Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • 3+ years of demonstrated relevant experience. Experience as a Lead and competency in electronic circuit manufacturing are strongly preferred.

  • Understanding of electronics industry standards such as IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620- J-STD-001. Preferred.

  • Ability to lead a diverse work group to meet goals.

  • Strong verbal communication and writing skills.

  • Self-motivated and self-directed, requiring minimal oversight to meet objectives and timelines.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to follow and read work instructions.

  • Assembling and/or inspecting products under a microscope.

  • Comfortable with repetitive work.

  • Able to perform multi-step tasks on a computer.

  • U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident in compliance with US ITAR requirements.Able to pass a background check and drug screen

Pay Details: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour
