Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 2 PM (with occasional shifts until 4 PM)
Safety Gear: Steel Toe Shoes Required
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to efficiently load and unload materials using a forklift and other equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate handling and organization of materials and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklift and other equipment to load and unload semi-trailers.
Count, weigh, and record materials or containers accurately.
Prepare and package orders for shipment.
Move stock within the warehouse and transport materials to production areas as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping floors and cleaning up spills or product messes.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous forklift or warehouse experience is required.
Language Skills: Ability to read, speak, and understand English effectively.
Physical Requirements: Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:
Excellent punctuality and reliability.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks.
Attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with general safety and environmental procedures and the ability to adhere to them.
