About the Role
We’re looking for a Drafter to support our engineering and manufacturing teams by creating and updating mechanical and electrical drawings used in production. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on drafting work, converting legacy drawings into modern CAD systems, and collaborating closely with engineers to bring designs to life.
If you’re comfortable working in AutoCAD and SolidWorks and enjoy contributing to real‑world manufacturing projects, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
Create, revise, and maintain mechanical and electrical drawings for manufacturing
Convert existing AutoCAD drawings into SolidWorks models and drawings
Update drawings for existing components based on engineering changes
Support production and manufacturing needs with accurate, detailed documentation
Work closely with engineers and project teams in a fast‑paced environment
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in mechanical, structural, or related drafting/design
Strong working knowledge of:
AutoCAD
SolidWorks
CAD drafting
Experience creating mechanical and electrical system drawings
General knowledge of:
Control systems
Power distribution and electrical systems
Motors and motor control systems
Pneumatics
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Mechanical or electrical design experience
Experience with amusement ride machinery
Knowledge of:
Steel construction and welding
Fasteners and machining
Bearings, wheels, and conveyance systems

This is a Contract position based out of St. Petersburg, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
