Job Title: Drafter
Job Description
The drafter will create and update mechanical engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing using Solidworks and AutoCAD. This role involves taking existing components and updating the drawings from AutoCAD and transferring them into Solidworks.
Responsibilities
Create and update mechanical engineering drawings and designs.
Utilize Solidworks and AutoCAD for drafting tasks.
Update existing components from AutoCAD drawings to Solidworks.
Collaborate with the team to ensure designs meet production and manufacturing standards.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks.
3+ years of experience in mechanical or structural design.
Knowledge of control systems, power distribution, electrical systems, motors, and motor control systems.
Experience in drafting and CAD.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with amusement ride machinery is a plus.
Knowledge of steel construction, welding, fasteners, machining, bearings, wheels, and conveyance systems.
Understanding of mechanical and electrical system drawings.
Work Environment
The position requires working onsite from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour lunch break between 12 PM and 2 PM. This role offers the opportunity to support one of the largest players in the amusement park industry.

This is a Contract position based out of St. Petersburg, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
