Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $18 - $24 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Building Maintenance Technician:
Maintain, repair, and ensure safe operation of building systems and facilities
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and structural components of residential, commercial, or institutional buildings
Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations
Perform minor carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs
Maintain building safety systems such as lighting, alarms, and locks
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Keep maintenance logs and report completed work
Coordinate with contractors and vendors when needed
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe condition
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Ability to troubleshoot and repair building equipment
Familiarity with safety procedures and building codes
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
Physical ability to lift, climb, and perform manual tasks
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous maintenance or trade experience preferred
Technical training or certifications are a plus
Background check and drug test required
