Description We are looking for an Accounting Associate to join our team in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic and expanding organization. In this role, you will support various aspects of the expense cycle while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate a proactive approach to building relationships and handling responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Manage vendor onboarding processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Administer vendor expenses in adherence to company policies and deadlines.
• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
• Create and review accounting entries to support accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with colleagues and counterparties to maintain smooth operations.
• Provide detailed and error-free work to support operational and financial objectives.
• Utilize business software applications effectively to streamline processes.
• Balance multiple priorities and adapt to evolving responsibilities within the organization. Requirements • 0-5 years of experience in a corporate or client-facing environment.
• Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach for interactions with executives and clients.
• Ability to persevere and overcome challenges to meet objectives.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work.
• Proficiency in utilizing various business software applications.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling financial responsibilities.
