Hybrid work schedule available, up to 50% telework depending on business needs. Telework can be outside of the state of Minnesota if the candidate lives in a state bordering Minnesota and lives 50 miles or less from the primary work location. This project manager position provides assistance to the Human Resources Director in administering the functional responsibilities of the department and is responsible for participation in and the establishment of HR strategic projects, plans and implementation of objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) years of strategic, high-level management and leadership experience that includes:
Demonstrated experience with Human Resources systems including workforce planning, classification, compensation, staffing and labor relations.
Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience, organizational and interpersonal skills to direct, develop and engage staff.
Leadership experience can include experience as a supervisor, lead worker, team lead, project lead, or completion of a State of Minnesota leadership program (e.g.,ELI or SLI) or comparable leadership program.
Applicants who meet the above experience requirements will be further evaluated based on the following:
Strong project management experience leading and executing Human Resources projects.
Excellent communication and conflict management skills with the ability Influence behavior, persuade, and engage multiple stakeholders.
Ability to independently analyze challenging Human Resources matters and provide recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
5-7 years of experience with strategic HR projects, plans and implementation of objectives
State of Minnesota Human Resources experience
Experience with Sema4, OBIEE and SharePoint
Physical Requirements
Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer.
