Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based | Full-Time or Part-Time Options
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (1–2 days/week available)
Contract Length: 12 Weeks (with potential extension through fall or opportunity to go internal)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 40 hours/week (part-time schedules available)

About the Role
We are looking for two School-Based Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support elementary students in a large, diverse district. In this role, you will perform evaluations, deliver direct therapy, and document services in accordance with each student’s individualized plan of care.
Both positions are located in PreK–5 schools with supportive teams and manageable caseloads. District pay is determined after resume review based on experience, education, and credentials.

Position Options & Schedules
Elementary School #1 (PreK–5)
Schedule: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Caseload: 36–37 students
Team Support: 1.5 SLPs on-site
Includes ECSE program + 2 setting 3 ASD/DCD classrooms
Contract through end of school year, potential to extend into fall
Elementary School #2 (PreK–5)
Schedule: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Caseload: 36–37 students
Team Support: 1 additional SLP on-site
Includes 2 setting 3 ASD/DCD classrooms (18 students)
Contract through end of school year, with extension or internal hire possible
Key Responsibilities
Conduct student speech and language evaluations.
Provide individual and group therapy services according to student plans of care.
Document services in compliance with district and professional standards.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Support students in federal setting 3 ASD/DCD classrooms as needed.
Participate in IEP processes and help develop appropriate treatment goals.
Maintain clinical and ethical standards in all therapy delivery and documentation.
Minimum Requirements
MN Speech-Language Pathologist License
School SLP License (PELSB)
Active SLP licensure in state of assignment
CCC-SLP preferred (may be required per contract/state)
Must meet all federal, state, and local regulations
CPR certification (if applicable)
TB questionnaire/PPD/chest X-ray (if required)
Current health certificate (if required)
Must be at least 18 years old
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in schools, pediatrics, or early childhood
Experience with ASD/DCD populations
Strong communication and collaboration skills
