Regions Hospital Nursing Supervisor, Emergency Department in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions Hospital is seeking a motivated Nurse Supervisor & Charge Nurse- Emergency Department to support our dynamic ED team and help drive exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The RN Supervisor/Charge Nurse- Emergency Department facilitates the effective operation of the Emergency Department by providing clinical leadership, supporting staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care. This role promotes collaboration through effective communication, maintains a strong working knowledge of departmental and hospital policies, and fosters positive working relationships with nursing staff, medical staff, and ancillary departments. The RN Supervisor/Charge Nurse utilizes evidence-based nursing practices and advanced problem-solving skills to support clinical and operational excellence. This is a 0.8 FTE position who will work 0.5 FTE in the Supervisor role and 0.3 FTE in the Charge RN role. Required Qualifications: Education & Experience: Four years of experience as a Emergency Registered Nurse Completion of accredited Associate degree in Nursing. And a bachelor's degree in Nursing, Education, Business, Health Sciences, Behavioral Science, Life Science, or approved field OR currently enrolled in a healthcare related Baccalaureate degree program with an established date of completion required. OR Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of Minnesota BLS ACLS TNCC ENPC/PALS Professional Emergency Nursing Certification (CEN or CPEN) within 1 year of hire.
