Description We are looking for a dedicated and personable Member Services Representative to join our team in St. Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to credit union members, ensuring their financial needs are met with care and professionalism. This is an on-site, long-term contract position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls to assist members with inquiries, transactions, and account-related issues.
• Provide comprehensive guidance to members about credit union services, benefits, and online banking tools.
• Process cash transactions efficiently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
• Assist members with opening and closing accounts, updating personal information, and resolving issues with debit cards.
• Deliver personalized service by addressing member concerns thoroughly, ensuring satisfaction without focusing on quotas or sales.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and compliance regulations to provide consistent and accurate information.
• Support members visiting the branch by creating a welcoming environment and fostering positive interactions.
• Utilize computer systems and multi-line phone systems to manage member interactions effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and problem resolution.
• Uphold the organization’s commitment to exceptional customer experiences through proactive and friendly communication. Requirements • Proficiency in computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to type efficiently and accurately for data entry and communication purposes.
• Previous experience in customer service or call center environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
• Familiarity with managing multi-line phone systems.
• Capability to handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in financial processes.
• Knowledge of online banking systems and account management.
