Shift: Monday–Thursday | 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM Pay: $22–$24/hr + 5% Shift Differential Type: Direct-Hire

Position Overview

We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing facility to place experienced Press Operators on a growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for an operator with foundational press experience or technical school training to step into a structured, growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate brings 1–2 years of press or general manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.

Compensation & Benefits Highlights:

  • Quarterly performance bonus: $500

  • Sign-on bonus: $1,000

  • Retention bonus: $1,000 (after one year of service)

What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate press equipment independently using diagrams, video references, and written work instructions.

  • Conduct quality inspections per established procedures and accurately document all findings.

  • Monitor production rates and communicate deficiencies to management in a timely manner.

  • Evaluate team performance in real time and make adjustments to maintain efficient product flow.

  • Escalate material overages, setup time issues, and personnel concerns to the appropriate lead or advisor.

  • Maintain accurate entries in electronic time and documentation systems.

  • Interpret basic technical prints and follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

  • Actively contribute to safety, quality, and production goal attainment.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1–2 years of press or manufacturing equipment experience, OR completion of a relevant technical/trade school program.

  • Rotary press experience is a strong plus.

  • Background in medical device or regulated manufacturing is preferred; general manufacturing experience will be considered.

  • Ability to read and interpret basic technical prints.

  • Proficient in PC use and Microsoft Office products.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (5S, SMED, continuous improvement) is a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate when needed.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative, positive attitude.
