Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (through end of school year with option to renew for next year)

Compensation
Pay is flexible based on experience. Most school-based BCBAs in consultative roles typically expect:
$70–$80 per hour
Highly experienced candidates may expect rates at the upper end of the range.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our educational team in a consultative, non-caseload role. This position focuses on supporting middle and high school students—particularly students of color disproportionately impacted by discipline challenges—through collaborative problem-solving, assessment, and intervention planning.
You will work directly with teachers, counselors, mental health staff, and administrators to develop effective, culturally responsive behavior supports that improve student outcomes. This role does not involve supervising staff.
What You’ll Do
Provide consultative behavioral support to school teams (no direct caseload).
Assist staff with strategies to reduce suspensions, expulsions, and chronic behavior concerns.
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and create Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Deliver training and coaching to staff on ABA strategies, de-escalation, and intervention implementation.
Observe students in classroom settings and offer actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral, academic, and social–emotional needs.
Support trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices.
Help monitor intervention fidelity and student progress.
Maintain all ethical and professional behavior-analytic standards.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (BACB).
Master’s degree in ABA, Education, Psychology, or related field.
Must meet all state, local, and federal requirements.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Experience
5+ years as a BCBA or educator OR 3+ years of BCBA-specific experience.
Experience providing ABA services in schools.
Pediatric experience (minimum 1 year preferred).
Current CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate (as applicable).
