Aerotek Press Brake Operator in St Michael, Minnesota

Press Brake Operator

Join our team as a Press Brake Operator and help produce high‑quality retail displays for leading brands like Apple, Samsung, and Google. You’ll work with modern Accupress and Amada machines while taking on a steady variety of projects in a clean, well‑organized, high‑tech environment.

What You’ll Do

You’ll turn sheet metal into precise, finished components by:

  • Operating CNC press brakes with accuracy and consistency

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints

  • Performing inspections to maintain top‑tier quality

  • Assisting with setups (experience helpful but not required)

  • Running a wide mix of parts (40–60 per job)

  • This role is ideal if you enjoy variety and take pride in craftsmanship.

Experience/Qualifications

  • 1+ year of press brake operating experience

  • Strong blueprint reading skills

  • Understanding of sheet metal processes and inspection methods

  • Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail

  • A positive attitude and comfort in a fast‑paced shop

  • Setup experience is a plus — but we’re happy to train motivated learners

Your Work Environment

  • Work across two buildings initially, moving into a new facility by Spring 2025

  • Clean, organized, well‑equipped workspaces

  • Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 PM–5:30 AM

  • Work 36 hours, get paid for 40

  • Other shifts available upon request

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St Michael, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
