Overview of the Role:
Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a Maintenance Millwright, for an existing opportunity within our organization. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Millwright is responsible for the routine/preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Schedule: 9:00pm - 7:00am, Thursday - Sunday (must be available to work days and nights - Flexibility required)
Wage: starting at $35.75/hour
There are 2 salary increases in the first year of employment, with a target rate of $44.70/hour.

How you will make contributions that matter:
Carries out preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
Trouble shoots and repairs equipment in breakdown situations
Carries out equipment installations and modifications as required
Repair parts in shop
Work effectively in a processing environment without jeopardizing food safety
Follow company policies and safety standards
Works with other trades groups to complete project assignments.
Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
Millwright license
Proven experience with process equipment in a manufacturing setting.
Food industry or high speed packaging experience
Pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge
Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
Welding experience is an asset
Excellent trouble shooting and analytical skills.
Boiler, refrigeration and air handling systems experience is an asset
Electrical experience is an asset
PLC training and experience is an asset
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
High level of self-motivation and initiative.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Dependable with a good attendance and safety record in current position.
Available to work afternoon and night shifts, weekends and overtime as required.
Available to switch shifts at short notice to replace absent workers
