Job Title: Forklift Operator – Dock Stocker and Walkie
Job Description
This role focuses on safely operating a dock stocker and walkie forklift to supply packaging materials to production lines and handle finished goods within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position involves frequent movement of product, use of RF scanners for inventory control, and occasional manual lifting of packaging films weighing approximately 20–30 pounds throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
Operate a dock stocker and walkie forklift safely and efficiently to support daily warehouse and production activities.
Perform line supply by delivering packaging materials to designated production areas in a timely manner.
Handle, move, and organize finished goods throughout the facility to support shipping, receiving, and storage operations.
Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory movement, verify product information, and maintain up-to-date records.
Support shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading materials and finished goods as required.
Continuously move product around the facility for the majority of the shift while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Occasionally lift and handle packaging films and other materials weighing approximately 20–30 pounds.
Follow all safety policies, facility rules, and equipment operating procedures at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with workplace standards.
Communicate effectively with production and warehouse team members to coordinate material flow and resolve issues promptly.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a dock stocker and walkie forklift.
Proficiency in forklift operation, including stand-up forklift equipment.
Experience with material handling in a warehouse or production environment.
Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
Ability to use RF scanners for inventory tracking and product verification.
Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly throughout an 8-hour shift.
Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and adherence to operating procedures.
This role is on an afternoon shift

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Mary's, ON.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.55 - $25.55/hr.
