JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Environmental Services Manager performs cleaning, laundering, and floor care functions to ensure a clean, orderly hospital. RESPONSIBILITIES: All Aspects of Housekeeping duties, including handling of contaminated waste and bio-hazard garbage. (Will train.) Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming. SALARY: Pay \$7.71/hr or more, depending on experience. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, work with arms extended above shoulders, climb walk, and reach Ability to work with cleaning compounds and disinfectants. Ability to climb a ladder Ability to work from a ladder Ability to communicate and follow instructions Ability to read instructions and complete cleaning reports Ability to interact with patients professionally and courteously Benewah Community Hospital offers competitive wages and benefits.
