Acosta Group Warehouse Project Coordinator in St Louis, Missouri

DESCRIPTION

Premium’s Project Coordinator will help successfully plan, lead and complete logistic projects for one of our largest consumer electronic clients. As a Project Coordinator you will work with a team to pull, assemble, kit, pack, inspect and ship client assets to ensure smooth operations and delivery to Premium representatives and retailers, as well as, contributing ideas to improve the project process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What will you do?

  • Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing to quality and productivity standards

  • Responsible for entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources

  • Create, organize, and manage all key projects associated with shipping and receiving

  • Assist with the coordination in identifying information and counts, weights, or measures of items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against invoices, orders, or other records

  • Ensure fulfillment team members have project specifications accurate prior to line work

  • Assist in maintenance and cleaning of inventory area including inventory organization, racking, cycle counting, reporting, and accounting

  • Responsible for picking, packing, shipping and physical counts of materials and kits

  • Responsible for kitting and assembly of displays

  • Assist with preparation of paperwork for management of packaging materials inventories, packaging of product to be shipped, and arrangement of transportation services

  • Prepare and expedite shipments by determining labeling requirements including assemble and pack product containers, prepares and affixes shipping labels in an accurate manner including special labels that are customer required

  • Use UPS, FedEx, and other shipping software programs

  • Ensure orderly and neatly maintained stock and receiving area as well as general maintenance of warehouse

  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to management

  • Ensure safe and efficient use of fork-lift machine, company van, and other warehouse equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

What qualifications and experience should you have?

  • High School Diploma required

  • Minimum three years of shipping and receiving experience preferred

  • Demonstrated competence in detail orientation

  • Demonstrated competence in planning and organization

  • Proven ability to manage time efficiently and effectively

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to provide daily tracking and reporting

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency

  • The tasks performed by Premium Project Coordinator are very physical and require constant movement and lifting (50+ lbs.)
