Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking an Accountant for a short-term, onsite engagement. This role will support both business and personal financial tracking by performing detailed account reconciliations and organizing financial data to provide clear visibility into cash flow and spending. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly discreet, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with sensitive financial information in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform reconciliations and reviews of 3 to 4 bank accounts, including both business and personal accounts

• Analyze transactions to ensure accuracy and provide visibility into where funds are being spent

• Organize and track financial data to support reporting needs

• Assist in preparing information for personal financial statements used for banking purposes

• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling personal and financial data

• Generate basic reports and summaries using reconciled data

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on account reconciliations

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel

• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Additional Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Duration: Approximately 1 month

• Work Environment: Fully onsite

• Dress Code: Business casual

Requirements • At least 2 years of accounting experience with significant exposure to reconciliations and account review.

• Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.

• Demonstrated ability to manage confidential personal and financial information with discretion.

• Strong attention to detail and a consistent approach to accuracy in financial work.

• Ability to work independently and remain organized in a fast-moving environment.

• Experience with bank reconciliations, general ledger activity, journal entries, and related accounting processes.

• Familiarity with preparing or supporting personal financial statement documentation is preferred.
