School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
School-Based Position
Schedule: 32.5 hours per week with flexible daily options
Campus Locations: Specific sites to be determined and discussed during the interview process

We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality therapy services in a school setting. This role offers flexibility, collaboration, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills and academic success, primarily within elementary school environments.
Position Overview
The School Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and providing therapy services in accordance with physician orders and educational requirements. This role includes direct therapy services, documentation, and active participation in the IEP process to support student growth and progress.
Schedule Details
This position is 32.5 hours per week, with the ability to choose up to two different schedules per week from the following options:
7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
This flexible structure allows for improved work-life balance while meeting student and school needs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform speech and language evaluations for students
Provide direct therapy services (individual and group-based)
Develop, implement, and document therapy plans aligned with student goals
Write and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Monitor and document student progress in accordance with the plan of care
Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
Ensure compliance with professional standards, school policies, and regulatory requirements
Caseload & Setting
Caseload size: To be determined
Primary setting: Mostly elementary schools, but varies
Specific campus assignments will be discussed during the interview
Minimum Requirements
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment required
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract
Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
Current CPR certification, if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable
Current health certificate, per state regulation or contract
Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
