In this role, you are a key contributor ensuring reliable and efficient material availability to support the Master Production Schedule. You will work cross-functionally with MSAT, Operations, Procurement, and Quality to manage raw material requirements, reduce supply risks, and maintain uninterrupted production. Your work directly supports the delivery of critical biologics to customers and patients worldwide.
What Will You Do?
Analyze raw material demand requirements using SAP/MRP to support the Master Production Schedule
Ensure sufficient quantities of raw materials are ordered, received, and released in time to meet production needs
Maintain and update raw material release schedules in alignment with Operations
Monitor and manage raw material inventory, including expiration and aging risk
Partner with MSAT and Operations to verify BOM accuracy and implement updates
Collaborate with Procurement to develop short- and long-term material forecasts
Manage material conversions to minimize obsolescence and ensure regulatory compliance
Escalate supplier performance and material issues to Procurement as needed
Work cross-functionally to resolve open QA, QC, Engineering, and Regulatory issues impacting the production schedule
Develop and maintain Supply Chain KPIs related to planning performance and inventory health
Conduct post-run BOM reviews comparing actual usage to theoretical usage
Communicate production schedule changes and confirm appropriate material coverage
Support additional Supply Chain responsibilities as business needs evolve
Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent required.
Experience:
1+ years of planning experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Experience with SAP or similar MRP systems strongly preferred
Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve planning-related issues
Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and lean manufacturing principles
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented with strong time management and task prioritization skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
