Spectrum Lead Claims Analyst in St Louis, Missouri
This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Spectrum is seeking a Leads Claims Analyst to oversee claims for general liability, auto liability, physical damage and property, while providing critical insights for financial reporting and guiding resolution strategies. Your expertise will drive effective outcomes for our organization.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Monitor Third Party Administrator on large complex claims through conclusion
Report large claims to carrier per the reporting requirements of the carrier
Monitor, analyze, and challenge reserves established by Third Party Administrator
Work on significant and/or unique problems
Recommend solutions and best practices
Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Responsibility for claims analyses and reporting, identify risk areas, conduct evaluation and recommend actions to management for better outcomes
Analyze and identify areas of risk and assist in implementing programs or processes to minimize the risk
Act as a liaison to attorneys, Third Party Administrators, Insurance Companies, and individuals investigating any incidents that may result in asset loss
Collaborate with adjusters, Human Resources, Safety, Legal, and outside counsel to assess potential liability and assist in resolution of claims
Works independently with no supervision and guidance
Seen as the subject matter expert within the department/organization and is a resource for colleagues with limited experience
Supervise the work performed by colleagues; not a people manager
Expert in evaluation, determines an appropriate resolution to the claim based on the policy provisions
Identify sources of data to be used to complete analysis, leveraging internal and external information
Working Conditions
- Office environment (four days onsite/one day remote)
What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience
Certificate in Property and Casualty Claims Handling
Certificate in Liability Investigation
Experience
15+ years of Property and Casualty Adjuster work experience
15+ years of Liability Claims Representative work experience
Skills
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Superior knowledge of related field
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel, as well as with claimants, customers and attorneys
Superior understanding with investigating and assess liability
Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
Ability to negotiate
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
Ability to use personal computer and software applications (word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
Knowledge of subrogation and litigation and the law
Knowledge of office procedures and the operation of standard office equipment
Knowledge of cable television products and service
