Laboratory Technician I – Quality Assurance

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician I to join our Quality Control team. In this role, you will be the first line of defense in ensuring our raw materials and finished products meet the highest standards of excellence.
The Opportunity
As a Laboratory Technician I, you will work in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail directly impacts the quality of medical supplies. You will be responsible for sampling, testing, and documentation, ensuring that every material used in our facility is safe and compliant.
Your Impact
Sampling & Testing: You will use our ERP system to identify, obtain, and test raw materials, components, and water samples in a safe and timely manner.
Quality Oversight: Perform routine product testing and document results with precision, ensuring that any non-conforming materials are identified and reported immediately.
Inventory Control: Manage the status of materials (Release, Quarantine, or QC Hold) within the ERP system to maintain a seamless production flow.
Lab Maintenance: Keep the laboratory running at peak efficiency by assisting with instrument calibration, preparing standards, and ensuring the proper disposal of materials.
Problem Solving: Recognize discrepancies in samples or equipment and collaborate with supervisors to implement effective corrective actions.
What You Bring
The Right Mindset: A strong commitment to following written procedures and a "right-first-time" approach to documentation.
Technical Savvy: Comfort using computer systems (ERP) and basic laboratory instrumentation.
Professionalism: The ability to work under direction while taking initiative to keep the lab clean, organized, and safe.
Analytical Skills: The ability to recognize "out-of-specification" results and communicate them clearly to leadership.
Shift & Compensation
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (A perfect shift for those who prefer to skip the early morning rush!)
Pay Rate: Up to $22-23.00 per hour (Based on experience)
