TAD PGS, Inc. Azure Cloud Architect in St Louis, Missouri
We have an outstanding Contract position for anAzure Cloud Architectto join a leading Company located in theSt. Louis, MOsurrounding area.
US Citizenship is required.
Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.
Responsibilities :
Design, architect, and govern secure Microsoft Azure cloud environments in compliance with government and enterprise security requirements
Develop reference architectures, landing zones, and network designs aligned with Zero Trust and defense-in-depth principles
Lead cloud solution design across compute, networking, storage, identity, and security services in Azure
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure solutions meet RMF, NIST, DISA STIG, and other compliance standards
Provide technical leadership and guidance to cloud engineers and operations teams
Support system modernization, cloud migrations, and hybrid cloud integrations
Participate in architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technical design discussions with stakeholders and customers
Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide escalation support
Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures
Basic Hiring Criteria :
Active U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or higher)
Minimum 8 years of IT infrastructure experience, with 4+ years in Azure cloud architecture or engineering roles
Hands-on experience designing secure Azure environments in regulated or government settings
Strong expertise in:
Azure IaaS and PaaS services
Azure Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, VPN, NSGs, and firewalls
Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, RBAC, and identity federation
Azure security services (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Policy)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
Familiarity with Windows and Linux workloads in Azure
Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with customers and leadership
Desired Qualifications :
Azure certifications (AZ-305, AZ-104, or equivalent)
Experience supporting DoD, federal, or classified environments
Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures (Azure + on-prem)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
Prior experience working in an on-site, cleared environment
