Tadcon Electric LLC Solar Electrician in St. Lawrence County, New York
Hiring an experienced Solar Electrician to join our team supporting utility-scale and commercial solar installations across New York State. This is a hands-on field position working on exciting renewable energy projects with a growing electrical contractor. Install, wire, and commission photovoltaic (PV) solar systems including panels, inverters, combiners, disconnects, and associated electrical equipment Perform medium and low voltage electrical work in compliance with NEC, OSHA, and project specifications Read and interpret solar electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and site plans, preferred Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and commissioning teams Conduct site safety inspections and participate in daily toolbox talks Complete accurate field documentation and timesheets Assist with warranty inspection and punch list work as needed
Qualifications: Journeyman electrician license or equivalent field experience preferred. Minimum 2 years of solar or renewable energy electical installation experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements preferred. Ability to work at height (ladder, aerial lift) and in all weather conditions. Valid NYS driver's license required, CDL preferred. OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 is a plus.
Hours are 7AM-5:30PM
$93 to $161/hr with wage and benefits combined!
