DC controls experience is a strong plus
4–5+ years leading structured cabling and security camera installations

Position Overview
This role is a hands-on leadership position within a growing Low Voltage Division. The Foreman is responsible for leading crews and overseeing the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of low voltage systems across commercial and enterprise projects throughout Utah and the surrounding Intermountain region.
The Foreman acts as both a technical leader and people manager, coordinating field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires strong decision‑making skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily field operations for cabling and low voltage installation projects
Promote and enforce safety as the top priority on all job sites
Serve as a professional representative of the company through appearance, communication, and work quality
Coach, train, and develop technicians to maximize individual and crew performance
Provide clear daily direction to crews to ensure project success and profitability
Communicate labor needs, scheduling updates, and material requirements to the Project Manager
Interpret and execute project specifications, schematics, and job documentation
Make real-time field decisions to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
Ensure work complies with local codes, standards, and project requirements
Monitor job site cleanliness, organization, and material usage
Track inventory, manage tools and equipment, and prevent loss or damage
Address job site issues, resolve problems, and escalate when necessary
Accurately submit daily job hours for self and crew
Handle change orders according to company procedures
Participate in post‑project reviews to evaluate performance and profitability
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working order
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager
Technical Experience
Proven experience installing and servicing access control systems such as:
ProdataKey (PDK)
Salto
Genea
Mercury-based hardware
VMS‑integrated access platforms (e.g., Milestone)
Experience with:
Structured cabling (Cat6)
Security camera installation
IP networking basics
Rack mounting and system termination
Strong understanding of national and local low voltage standards
Additional Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to use standard test equipment
Basic computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Professional appearance and demeanor
Own or be willing to purchase required personal hand tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or elevated surfaces
Comfortable working at heights (10+ feet)
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
