Willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed
Inventory management experience (tool tracking, organizing, audits)
Familiarity with tool inventory systems (labeling, check-in/out, cycle counts)
Warehouse/yard organization and asset tagging experience
Enjoys physical, active work; able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
Experience with power tools, hand tools, and construction environments
Ability to operate forklifts, skid steers, telehandlers, etc.
Minor repair skills (carpentry, electrical, mechanical, light plumbing)
Strong attention to detail and safety
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance
Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop, yard, tools, and assets
Perform basic repairs (painting, carpentry, shelving, minor mechanical)
Clean, detail, and fuel vehicles and equipment
Complete simple in-house tool/equipment repairs
Submit weekly reports on items needing outside service
Ensure all equipment is properly stored, labeled, and cleaned
Asset Inspection
Complete weekly inspection checklists
Identify and document safety concerns or maintenance needs
Assist with cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
Track asset condition and report missing or damaged equipment
Yard & Grounds
Keep yard organized, secure, and safely arranged
Ensure tools and vehicles are locked/stored properly
Perform snow removal and basic groundskeeping
Support enforcement of property and asset security procedures
Trailer Loading/Unloading
Assist in loading/unloading using established checklists
Ensure outgoing equipment is functional, clean, and secured
Log condition reports for all equipment leaving or returning
Support accurate asset tracking during mobilization/demobilization
Inventory & Equipment Care
Clean, handle, and store tools and equipment safely
Organize shelves, bins, cages, and yard storage
Help maintain compliant, safe, and functional equipment
Assist with inventory control processes (tagging, scanning, labeling)
Qualifications for Entry:
3+ years of experience with carpentry and power tools
2–4 years in facilities maintenance
2–4 years of data entry experience (Excel)
Experience with drywall installation, painting, building/repair tasks
Understanding of vehicle/equipment operation and maintenance
Ability to read, write, and follow processes
Able to lift/maneuver 50 lbs independently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Basic computer and reference manual usage skills
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
Willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed
