Job Title: Quality Inspector-
Job Description
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing audits and inspections to ensure products meet established quality standards. This role collaborates closely with Production, Testing, Project Management, Engineering, and Shipping teams to maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
Conduct QA audits and inspections.
Verify and document wiring, torque tolerances, labeling, etc., per assembly and wiring checklists.
Assist in the training of production employees.
Properly use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, and multimeters.
Ensure products meet quality standards before shipping.
Essential Skills
Minimum 1 year of experience in switchgear, mechanical, or electrical system testing and related work.
Knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to use shop equipment and hand tools.
Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.
Blueprint and schematic reading.
Quality control knowledge.
Electrical assembly and control panel expertise.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Charles, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
