Job Description
This position involves assembling low and medium voltage electrical switchgear cabinets to manufacture products. The assembler will use blueprints or work orders to gather materials and hardware, utilize hand and power tools to execute work instructions, and perform basic inspections to ensure product quality.
Responsibilities
Interpret assembly and elevation drawings to guide construction.
Construct modular steel cabinets and copper buss assemblies.
Accurately read tape measures for precise measurements.
Utilize manual hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
Operate power tools including drills, impact tools, and pneumatic torque wrenches.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Machine Builder, or Automotive Mechanic, preferably in a job shop environment.
Proficient knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics.
Ability to use shop equipment and hand tools effectively.
Perform basic math functions, understanding fractions and decimals.
Fluent in English, with reading, writing, and conversational skills necessary for the position.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Technical School preferred but not required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
