Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in St. Augustine, Florida
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a leading manufacturing company in St. Augustine, Florida. This is a 2-month contract position with the potential for permanent employment based on performance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the organization's accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Reconcile overdue invoices and investigate discrepancies to ensure timely resolution of billing issues.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of customer communications and payment statuses.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address payment concerns and facilitate prompt issue resolution.
• Generate and distribute aging reports to management for review and decision-making.
• Support additional accounts receivable tasks, including cash applications and billing processes.
• Assist with administrative duties related to accounts receivable as needed. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related accounting functions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with Epicor ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing or hospitality industry is a plus but not mandatory.
