Robert Half Customer Service Representative in St. Albans, West Virginia

Description We are looking for a success-driven and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in St. Albans, West Virginia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring excellent customer experiences by managing orders, addressing inquiries, and collaborating with internal teams. Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details such as pricing, shipping, and billing are verified.

• Maintain and update customer records with important information, including quoted pricing, delivery instructions, and address changes.

• Collaborate with sales staff to provide timely support and communication while they are in the field.

• Handle customer inquiries and issues, providing solutions and documentation for complaints or concerns.

• Audit purchase orders to ensure compliance with pricing, terms, quantities, and special instructions.

• Facilitate the return process for customer products in accordance with established procedures.

• Support team members with data entry and order intake tasks, promoting a collaborative work environment.

• Ensure adherence to compliance, safety, and regulatory standards across all customer service functions.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction.

• Participate in cross-departmental collaboration to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer support. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.

• Familiarity with chemical distribution or manufacturing industries is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.
